Why are there errors on my credit report?
The credit bureaus are responsible for collecting credit data for more than 250,000,000 consumers. This is no easy task and mistakes can happen. Since the credit bureaus only list items that are reported to them by businesses and lenders, they are generally not to blame. Errors on credit reports can be caused by a variety of reasons, including: An application was submitted under a different name (e.g.: Robert Smith vs Bob Smith) Someone made a clerical error when inputting your information into their system The social security number provided might have been incorrect Payments on credit cards or loans might have accidentally been applied to the wrong account Someone might have submitted a credit application without your consent Fixing errors on your credit report can be difficult and very time consuming. What does credit repair actually mean?
Credit repair is the process of removing inaccurate, unverifiable, or erroneous information from your credit reports. This helps ensure that your credit report will only contain true and accurate information. Since your credit score is calculated based on the information in your credit report, removing errors can impact your overall score. Please keep in mind that negative information cannot be disputed if it is true and accurate.
How much does the service cost?
The beauty of our pricing is in its simplicity. We charge a flat-rate of $99.00 per month, and only after we have done the work we have promised to do for that month. No matter how many items you wish to dispute or how many documents we draft for you, there will NEVER be hidden fees or confusing charges to understand. You can also cancel the service at any time without any penalties or obligations.
How long will the process take?
While everyone's credit goals and profile are different, on average our clients start to see some results within the first 30-45 days. As you can imagine the number and type of items disputed can alter the time frame. Results could include a removal, modification or validation.
Why can't I send all of my disputes in one single request letter?
Generally speaking, the Credit Bureaus do not take kindly to dispute letters that contain long lists of negative items. The Bureaus might get the impression that a consumer is not determining the legitimacy of the negative items and simply challenging everything. Their offices could flag these types of dispute letters as frivolous and may choose not to process your dispute request. Because of this, we schedule your dispute letters in such a way where it will be carefully thought out requests addressing very specific and unique issues. The exact scheduling/timing we develop will depend on: the total number of dispute items, the Bureaus and creditors involved in the dispute, as well as the type of dispute we'll be submitting.
How does the service work?
Our process is simple. In fact, the setup only takes a few minutes. First, we'll help you obtain your credit report and work with you to identify the inaccurate information.
